The composition starts with two remarkable moves. The prove that both are winning in all variants is given below. See the diagram of the first Applet.

De compositie begint met twee opmerkelijke zetten. Het bewijs dat beide in alle varianten winnen wordt hieronder gegeven. Zie het diagram van de eerste Applet.

The variants above imply that Black has to play (5 x 14) and (23 x 32). The Applet ends at the time that Black has to take an important decision.

De varianten hierboven betekenen dat zwart (5 x 14) en (23 x 32) spelen moet. De Applet eindigt op het moment dat zwart een belangrijke beslissing nemen moet.

After (12-17) or (14-19) or (14-20) White wins with 43-39 (32 x 34) 16 x 26 (37-41) 46 x 37 (31 x 42) 26 x 48.

However, Echter (12-18!!) 43-39, 16 x 22 (37-42) is a draw, is remise.

The only real solution is shown by the last Applet. De enige echte oplossing toont de laatste Applet.
